In effect, you can easily create and maintain a wordpress blog in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada or Arabic or a combination of all these languages.
How to install WP google Language Transliteration plugin?
You can install this plugin like any other wordpress plugin. Unzip the contents of the downloaded zip file into your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory and activate it. That is all.
You will find a language drop-down getting added on to your wordpress admin pages, namely “Add New Post” and “Add New Page”.Simply choose the language of you choice and start editing the content phonetically in English script. Every word gets automatically transliterated, upon pressing the space bar, on your keyboard. Note that this is not the same as translation — it is the sound of the words that are converted, from one character set to the other (Roman to Devangiri), and not their meaning.
This plugin also adds a language selection drop-down to your comment form, thereby letting your visitors to comment in languages of their choice!!! Find below a few screenshots.

This plugin makes use of Google APIs to integrate transliteration to wordpress.Currently the Google APIs expose only five languages for transliteration.the plugin will automatically support more languages including Marathi, Bengali, Gujarathi, Nepali and more as soon as Google exposes APIs to all those languages.
If you have more questions on Transliteration usage, you may check out the Google article here. the plugin has been submitted for inclusion in wordpress repository.
Download the plugin here. You will find it absolutely amazing to start your professional lingual blogs and spice up your personal blogs with live multi lingual editing support.
Enjoy blogging in your own language on wordpress platform.

Is there an option to set Default Language, since right now Arabic is shown as default language
The dropdown has the languages in alphabetic order. So you will have to manually select the language.
Great plugin. Im using this plugin with out much problem in my WPMU blog. But, the size of the textarea in HTML editor mode is quite large and exceeding the size of the screen. Can you please explain if there is any method to resolve that bug.

@chandu, i don’t think it has got anything to do with this plugin…
Hi Suhas,
I was using your plug in and it was great. I installed WordPress 3.0 version few minutes ago and the plug in stopped working as it was doing before. Now the drop down in the HTML editor doesn’t show anything. Is there any problem with the version support?
Please help.
Thanks,
Sailesh.
