We had earlier covered what a pan Card is and how to make a pan Card application online.

This article is on how to track the PAN Card Status online. You can track the status of your application for new PAN / reprint of PAN card / Changes or Correction in PAN details using the 15 digit unique Acknowledgment Number after three days of application using this facility.

How to track the Pan Card Status?

Find below the steps to track the status of the PAN Card that you applied online.

  • 3. You will be taken to a page where you can Track your PAN/TAN Application Status
  • Choose the Application type, enter the acknowledgment number, Name and Date of Birth/Incorporation/Agreement/Partnership or Trust Deed/Formation of Body of Individuals/Association of Persons
  • 4. click Submit

You will be presented the PAN application Status!!! It is important to note that Name should be as mentioned in the application form and applicants other than ‘Individuals’ should write their name in the field for Last Name or Surname only.

Also remember that applicant should search for the status of PAN application using Name and Date Of Birth three days after the application has been submitted online or through TIN-FC.

    I wanted to know whetheri can track the courier number of my pan card that has been despatched on 10/06/10. Kindly revert with answer asap.

    • If you know the courier number of the pan card sent across to your address, why don’t you find the status with the concerned courier company? Some popular courier companies do offer online tracking facility.

  2. I had applied for pan card 15 days before. How can i know that it has been couriered to my address?

    • The status does not mention such details though I agree with you that it would be useful.
